The Conde de Godó tournament, or as it is officially known the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell, is a tennis competition that is part of the ATP World Tour 500 and it takes place at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona. The club has a clay court and the tournament returns to the Ciudad Condal every year, ever since it started in 1953. Initially it was called the Conde Bafalluy Trophy, in honor of Dr. Ruano. The tournament consists of two categories: men’s singles and men’s doubles. This is undoubtedly one of the most important tennis-related events in the world, and it will be possible for the top 10 tennis players of the ATP to present itself, but also for new or lesser known tennis players. The Real Club Tenis Barcelona, founded in 1899, is one of the main sports institutions of the city. It is located in a lovely residential area in the Pedralbes district, near one of the main entrance ways to the Ciudad Condal, the Avinguda Diagonal.
