Arte Bar, launched by Americans Alisa Rosseter and Bruce Anderson in February of 2017 is quickly becoming a local sensation. The studio situated in the Eixample neighborhood offers no-experience-required painting and wine nights. Prior to moving to Barcelona, Bruce and Alisa had organized fine art summer camps in the US, France and in nearby Girona.

All painting supplies are at the ready; including the acrylic paint, canvas, brushes and even hairdryers to help dry the paint faster. The professional instruction, local wine, craft beer and tasty nibbles are also included in the price of €27 per person, (plus IVA).

Bruce, a talented and experienced artist, guides you through a set painting study step by step. Alisa offers constructive advise and masterfully orchestrates the event, leaving no palette dry or wine glass empty. The atmosphere is geared towards fun and open creativity and there is no pressure to follow a set of rules. Best of all, at the end of the evening you can take your freshly minted masterpiece home with you.

The events last between two and three hours and also have an important social aspect. During the session there are breaks where you can chat and get to know like minded creative people – both Barcelona locals and visitors passing through town.
